Yeah, my PS3 is pretty much for console/PS3 exclusives. If all those games were out on the PC I'd be playing them there.

So can't a developer continue working on the game after release? There's some DLC that if it was added to the main game, it just wouldn't work. Episodes from Liberty City, a lot of the DLC on the first Borderlands, Dragon Age Awakening, Blood Dragon.
You seem to think there's a game out there that programs itself. When such game exists then we can use a specific term to describe that something is part of the game's code.
